Forgotten username and password

you can reset password by manually modifying generator/data/generator.conf file:
find:
   <option name="xs_login">........</option>
   <option name="xs_password">.........</option>

and empty those settings:
   <option name="xs_login"></option>
   <option name="xs_password"></option>

I'm also experiencing the same issue. I saw my default.conf having empty username and password. Before, I don't see the tool asking for username and password, just today it's asking for it. I already tried creating a username and password on the .conf but it can't log in so I can't use the tool. Let me know if there's any thing else that I can try to fix the issue.

Hey I've tried the above and resetted it to "xx", but still can't login, should i delete the generator.conf ?? Will i loose any other settings ?

Hello,

all settings will be reset to default if you remove the file.
When modifying login/password in generator.conf you should empty it instead of setting to "xx".

overwrote with an upgrade and now its working.
